Purchase a general admission ticket online

Buy a ticket for General Admission to the museum in advance to expedite your check-in at the museum. A General Admission ticket includes entry to all exhibitions and programs included with admission. Upon arrival, please present your eTicket or print out, to the welcome desk. You will find the link to your eTicket in your confirmation email. 

The CMCH offers free admission to the museum on the first weekend of every month and on occasional open house days. Please check our website before your visit to see if the purchase of a general admission ticket is necessary.

Please note: Some programs and events require a special ticket, please check the special program and event link below for tickets.

If you are planning on taking advantage of a general admission discount, please purchase your tickets in-person at the Welcome Desk. Special discounts include: Blue Star Museums (from Armed Forces Day to Labor Day), Museums for All (SNAP EBT card), NARM, and NEMA.

General admission tickets purchased online do not cover...

• RESEARCHING AT THE CONNECTICUT MUSEUM:
  General Admission tickets do not include access to the Waterman Research Center. If you wish to access the research center, please request an appointment in advance online at Researching at CMCH. Walk-in appointments are not currently available.

• SPECIAL PROGRAMS AND EVENTS:
  For tickets to a special program or event, please access through our events calendar.

Museum Hours:
Tuesday–Friday: Noon – 5 pm, Thursday nights until 8 pm
Saturday: 9 am – 5 pm
Sunday: Noon – 5 pm
